RoHS豁免 LED中鎘
2010.2.26，歐盟在官方公報上公布委員會決定2010/122/EU，鑒于對LED中的鎘進行替代，在技術上還不成熟，決定對其進行豁免。至此，RoHS指令附錄（即豁免清單)條款，增加至第39條。
RoHS最新豁免清單
1. Mercury in compact fluorescent lamps not exceeding 5 mg per lamp 小型日光燈中的汞含量不得超過5毫克/燈
2. Mercury in straight fluorescent lamps for general purposes not exceeding: halophosphate 10 mg,

2009底，歐盟議會議員提出一份修訂報告，針對
要充分了解熟悉RoHS指令的豁免清單和豁免期限，提高合理利用豁免規則的意識，積極為自己的產品申請豁免以爭取更寬闊的生存空間；
加強供應商采購控制管理，盡可能要求提供原材料成分聲明，采購達到RoHS要求的元器件和原材料，對不確定的供應商材料要進行內外部測試，確保不摻雜有害物質以符合申請豁免條件；
豁免項目針對的是產品中的特定有害物的應用，而非整個產品被豁免，如一零部件中焊料中的鉛是符合RoHS指令的，但不代表該零部件產品就能被豁免，同一部件中仍不能含有其它限制形式的鉛或其它五種被限制物質。
據悉，歐盟暫定2010.5.4，對RoHS修訂報告進行一讀程序，5.18進行全體會議。
